  behaviour management, things that work

We examine approaches to behaviour management that work. We have analysed outstanding lessons to discover who does what and how. We added the experience of observing thousands of lessons and we can give you strategies and tactics that work.

We look at three groups of pupils. There are those who are OK for most of the time and represent the majority in main stream schools. The second group is made up of those who are naughty and know it; they do it on purpose. Finally, there are children who are 'naughty' but they can't help it. They have a special need which dictates a behaviour pattern which they cannot control, For them, conforming to 'normal' class rules is a major issue. They can't.

On this course you can expect to be part of a small group. We want you to explore issues that are relevant to you. We believe that this is best done with few rather than many participants. You will leave with ideas that you can implement immediately.

We know that what we share works. Your tutor will be or have been an OFSTED inspector. They will have seen these tactics work in primary, secondary and special schools.
