TA development modules - a distance learning course

It is not always possible to go on a course and some people do not have reliable Internet connections. As a result, we have produced a modular training programme for TAs where you download the work and email it back when you finish.

You select eighteen of the forty-three development modules available. Each module is designed to enable you to develop your expertise in a particular area of work and by careful selection you can focus on key issues for development. You don't have to buy all the modules at once and you set your own pace.

Each module is written as a set of simple tasks. The tasks can be completed at home and in school. Each Module takes about 75 minutes in total but it can be spread over a longer period of time. There is no deadline for completion.

You will also have an e-mail contact to a tutor in case you get stuck. The tutor will be able to help you with the work in the module and can e-mail you a certificate to say you have completed the module. You can use these certificates to demonstrate an on-going commitment to your own professional development.

These modules are being used in over fifty-three countries and provide an opportunity to explore issues related to learning around the world.

We will keep your submitted work on file since it can count toward a Certificate of Educational Studies from the College of Teachers. Completing any eighteen modules will match the certificate requirement.

To book for a module e-mail: peter@national-inspections.co.uk
You should tell us which module(s) you would like to take and the name and address of the school or individual we should invoice. Once we have received payment the module will be e-mailed to you.

The cost of a single module is £10. If you book six modules at the same time then you only pay for five.
